10:20 PM -  Snow will wind down in inland areas.  You can see the lake-effect band coming down the length of the lake into Northern Indiana.   Flash Freeze across the area during the afternoon and evening.  Roads got very icy very quickly as the cold air pushed in.   Dozens of slide-offs were reported.   Muskegon dropped 10 degrees in one hour, Lansing and Holland dipped 9 degrees in an hour.

Whitey Ford   The most snow so far is 6.6″ in East Grand Rapids.   A Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect into Saturday morning for the lakeshore counties.    Heavier snow is possible at the south end of Lake Michigan in NW Indiana.  Snow showers are possible Saturday with another round of light snow Monday night into Tuesday.  No big storms, but the ground will be white again.   I was the emcee for Match Counts at GVSU downtown this morning.   Snow measurements in comments are always welcome as well as your reports on road conditions.
